To analyze the current situation of inequalities in health across countries, regions, communities and populations as well as current efforts and a way forward to address these inequalities.
Event summary:
During the past two decades, socioeconomic inequalities in health have increasingly been recognized as an important public health issue throughout the world. Organized by PhD students of the CIHLMU Center for International Health, Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Germany, this symposium will create a forum for different stakeholders to discuss about inequalities in health in different countries, efforts made to tackle inequalities in health and possible strategies to address these inequalities.
Target groups:
Public health community, social scientists, public health authorities, and medical and public health students of Munich and other cities in Germany.
